Funeral services for Mildred Richmond, age 100, of Paullina, Iowa - who passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at the Primghar Care Center in Primghar, Iowa. Here services were 1:00 pm Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home in Paullina with Rev. Andrew Hilla officiating. Burial was in the [West] Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina.

Mildred Malcolm Richmond, the daughter of Daniel and Mary Alice (Reynods) Cockel [sic Cockle] was born July 29, 1911, at Cleghorn, Iowa. She received her education at Cherokee County schools.

She was united in marriage to Glenn Malcolm and Robert Richmond. Most of her life was spent in the Paullina area.

She was able to celebrate her 100th birthday at home before moving to the Primghar Care Ceneter. She passed away there on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, reaching the age of 100 years, 2 months and 27 days.

Mildred is survived by five grandchildren [redacted], seven great grandchildren, three great-great garndchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Glenn Malcolm and Robert Richmond, a son, Glenn Malcolm, and his wife, Esther (Schnoes) Malcom, her parents, and sisters Inez Thomson, Mabel Klinker, and Grace Strampe.
