Stroke Takes Life of Mrs. Frank Pauling; Services Thursday

Mrs. Frank Pauling, Paullina, died Monday morning at the Sioux Valley Hospital in Cherokee from the effects of a stroke suffered April 21. Thought to be recovering, her condition worsened Monday afternoon and death came soon after.

Funeral services are to be held today (Thursday) at 1:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church with the Rev Melvin Thur officiating. Gaudian Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Prairie View Cemetery.

The deceased is survived by her husband, Frank; a son, Francis of Paullina; a daughter, Dolores, Mrs. Earl Ewoldt of Wilmar, Minn., and five grandchildren. She is also survived by four brothers: Henry, Ernest and Carl Hibbing of Paullina and Edward Hibbing of Long Beach, California five sisters, Mrs. Ida Warnke, Mrs. Leon (Alvina) Omer and Mrs. Orville (Ella) Hatfield of Paullina, Mrs. Rose Kruse and Ann Hibbing of Long Beach, California.
