1885 - FRED C. SEEMAN - 1962

Fred C. Seeman, son of Fred Seeman and Minnie nee Luessenhop was born on January 26, 1885, in Illinois. He spent his youth and school days in Illinois and came to the Paullina area as a young man.

On March 22, 1911 he was married to Sophie Wrede, at Madison, Illinois. Mr. and Mrs. Seeman spent their entire lives farming till they retired in Paullina. In 1961, Mr. and Mrs. Seeman celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.

Mr. Seeman suffered a cerebral hemorrhage. He was rushed to the Sioux Valley hospital at Cherokee, where he passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at the age of 77 years, 7 months and 15 days.

He is survived by his widow, one brother, William of Illinois, numerous nieces and nephews. Burial was in Prairie View cemetery, Paullina.
