Mrs. Robert Guse, 46, of Portage, Wisconsin, and formerly of Sanborn, passed away at her home Wednesday, April 6, from a heart attack. The body was brought to Sanborn for services Monday morning, April 11, at Saint Cecilia's Catholic Church with Rev. Father C. Flannery officiating. Rosary was recited at the Sanborn Funeral Home Sunday, April 10, at 8:00 p.m. Interment was made in Roseland Cemetery under the direction of the Sanborn Funeral Home.

Darline Marie Mattson [sic], daughter of Albert and Emma Mattson, was born May 14, 1920 at Sheldon. She lived in Sheldon and Sanborn, graduating from the Sanborn Public School in 1938.

January 12, 1939, she was united in marriage to Raymond John Berlin at Saint Cecilia's Catholic Church in Sanborn. Mr. Berlin passed away December 28, 1962.

She was married to Robert Guse August 10, 1964 at Saint Cecilia's Catholic Church. They made their home at Portage, Wisconsin.

Survivors include her husband, four children: Dennis Berlin of Sanborn, Donald Berlin of Wichita, Kansas, Robert and Melba Berlin of Portage, Wisconsin; also her mother, Mrs. Emma Mattson and two brothers, Robert Mattson of Edgarton, Kansas and Donald Mattson of Westfield, New Jersey.

She was a member of Saint Mary's Church at Portage, and was recently elected First Vice President of the Catholic Women's Club at Portage. She was affiliated with the Royal Neighbors of American, the Legion Auxiliary, and was a Past President of the O'Brien County American Legion Auxiliary.
