The sad news reaches The Times today of the death of Mr. Louis Lange of Caledonia township. The gentleman passed away this morning at an early hour. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the German Lutheran Church in Germantown.

Mr. Lange was born in Cook County, Illinois, and would have reached the age of forty years had he lived until January 2nd next.

He came to this county about eighteen years ago, has been married fifteen years, having been united to Miss Emma Kluender, passing away upon the exact day of the fifteenth wedding anniversary.

His death was caused by pneumonia with which he was attacked on last Sunday.

His nearest relatives and attendants were not aware of his dangerous condition and therefore the death came as a greater shock than usual.

He leaves a wife and six children, a sister, Mrs. John Wollenberg, and a brother, Charles Lange as the nearest relatives.

Mr. Lange was an ideal neighbor and a good citizen. His death is deeply deplored by all.
