Services Held For C. Traver

Chester O. Traver, 78, of Paullina, died Thursday, March 27 of an apparent heart attack at his residence.

Mr. Traver was born Feb. 12, 1897 at Odebolt. He was educated in public schools and was a trucker and laborer. He married Nellie Hoffman. She died in 1933.

Survivors include two brothers, Buell of Paullina and Willett of Primghar; six sisters, Mrs. Hazel Soull of Grand Coulee, Wash., Mrs. Oscar Anderson of Spokane, Wash., Mrs. Lucille Nielsen of Glendale, Calif., Mrs. Earl (Ora) Mesner of Sutherland, Mrs. Mae Cresson of Hawarden, and Miss Lila of Primghar.

Services were held at 10 a.m. March 31 in the Gaudian Funeral Home. The Rev. Elmer Stofferan officiated. Burial was in Prairie View Cemetery. Pallbearers were Charles Traver, Kenneth Traver, Gordon Traver, Burdette Traver, Orval Hoick and Alvin Henderson.
