Funeral services in memory of Eunice Dorothea Mohr were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 1995, at First Congregational Church in Spencer, Iowa. Rev. Robert Fleischmann officiated. Interment was at Pleasant View Cemetery in Hartley. Warner Funeral Home of Spence was in charge of arrangements.

Eunice Dorothea Mohr, the daughter of William and Helena Peterson Wiese, was born February 27, 1905 in Westside, Iowa. She received her education in Milford and graduated from Milford High School.

On December 25, 1926, Eunice married Walter Mohr in Sioux City, Iowa, and following their marrriage, they lived in Sioux City for six years. She then moved to Hartley and lived there for nearly 15 years befor moving to Valley City, North Dakot. In 1972, she moved to Spencer.

While living in Spencer, she was a member of the First Congregational Church where she was a very active meember. She also belonged to a Woman's group and church circle.

Eunice was a great Twins fan and also liked to watch the Iowa Hawkeyes on television.

Mrs. Mohr passed away on Saturday, May 6, 1995, at the Saint Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Walter in 1969; two daughters-in -law; one brother, Arlo; one sister, Lucille; and several nieces and nephews.

Eunice is survived by one daughter and her husband, Gloria and Richard Harris of Spencer; two sons: Richand Mohr of Canton, South Dakota, and Kay and his wife, Brenda Mohr of Brooten, Minnesota; twelve grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
