Eunice Idel Will, the daughter of William and Rennie Howard was born on September 1, 1905, at Lafayette in Macon County, Tennessee. She died after a one-day illness on Tuesday, July 10, 1956, having reached the age of 50 years, 10 months and 9 days.

She attended school in Lafayette and after a visit to Hartley she came to Iowa to be married near Melvin to Louie Emil Wilhelm Will on August 15, 1937. They lived on a farm south of Melvin for four years before moving to Hartley 16 years ago. No children came to bless this union.

She leaves to mourn her passing: her husband Louie; her mother, Mrs. Rennie Howard, now living in Vandalia, Ill., where she makes her home with a sister of the deceased, Mrs. Verna Mae Browning; another sister, Mrs. Lola Stevens, living in Jerseyville, and a brother, Mr. Raymond Howard, living in Chatam, Illinois. Her many brothers and sister-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends join to mourn her passing.

Her father and one brother and one sister preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Modern Woodmen of American since October, 1937, and was attended by her fellow members. She has worked in various restaurants in this area for sixteen years.

Funeral services were held in Trinity Evangelical and Reformed church of Hartley with Rev. Ralph Maschmeier as Pastor, on Friday, July 13th. The Sanborn funeral home was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in the Pleasant View cemetery at Hartley.
