Mrs. Roma Woods, an early pioneer of O'Brien county, died at her home in Sutherland. She and her husband founded the Gen. N. B. Baker library, the first in northwest Iowa.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born March 16, 1835 and died Feb. 29, 1916. She is buried in the Waterman Cemetery.
