Funeral serviceds for Ellsworth R. Sundquist of Moline, Illinois were held here Monday, April 18 at 2 p.m. at the Methodist Church. Rev. John Kirby officiating. Burial was in Paririe View Cemetery under the direction of Gaudian Funeral Homes.

Mr. Sundquist passed away Thursday, April 14, 1977 in a Moline, Illlinois, hospital, having attained the age of 66 years and 11 months. He was born May 15, 1899 in Moline, Illinois. He attended grade school in Moline and later, a rural school in Baker township, O'Brien County, Iowa.

In 1923 he was married to Miss Mydia Oeffner of Paullina. The them were born five children. His wife passed away August 11, 1940, with his family he moved to Moline where he worked as a railroad engineer from which he retired in 1964.

Survivors are three daughters, Evelyn (Mrs. George Kalman) of Portland, Oregon; Ruby (Mrs. Norman Buchner) of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Lucille (Mrs. Richard Daily) of Kansas City, Kansas; two sons, Lyle of Indianapolis, Indiana; Russell, of Redland, Clifornia; and 13 grandchildren. One sister, Mrs. Clarence Hedin, Paullina; three brothers, Bert and Elmer of Primghar and Herman of LaJolla, California.
