Trudy Ann Imwiehe Thompson 1944-2020

Trudy Ann Thompson, 75, Platte City, MO passed away June 13, 2020 at her home. Trudy was born December 8, 1944 in Hartley, IA to Betty (Baird) and Harry Imwiehe. Trudy graduated Ft. Osage HS in Independence, MO. She worked at Chevrolet, Haven Steel and Meredith Corporation. Trudy then went back to school and became a RN, she worked at various hospitals and nursing homes. Later she lived with her sister Jean in Platte City MO. She loved family and dogs, especially little white Maltese dogs. She loved homemade ice cream and buttermilk brownies.

Trudy was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Betty Imwiehe and brother, Dan Imwiehe.

She is survived by brothers and sisters: Sarah Carlson (Dr. Mel Carlson),Nancy Morgan, Greg Imwiehe, Jean Imwiehe. Children, Tami Hall (Kevin Hall) and Troy Thompson (Lisa Thompson). Grandchildren, Madison, Summer, Bryce, Hunter and Chase.

There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date by the family. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Mill Creek County Park in O'Brien county Iowa or Three Rivers Hospice in Platte City, MOor the Milo, Iowa Fire Department.
