Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 4, for Mrs. Anna Kaiser at the Zion Lutheran Church. Interment was in the Prairie View cemetery. The Rev. Martin Peters was in charge of the services.

Anna Kaiser, daughter of Louis and Wilhlemine Reichardt Knauft, was born on January 23, 1874 at Coopers Grove, Cook County, Illinois. She died Thursday evening, February 26, at Long Beach, California at the age of 79 years, one month and three days.

As a young girl she came to Iowa, and on May 26, 1894, she entered into marriage with Mathies Kaiser. Two sons and one daughter were born to them. The Kaisers lived on a farm about 11 miles southwest of Paullina. Her husband preceded her in death in June, 1920.

In March 1926, Mrs. Kaiser came to Paullina, where she resided until 1947 when she moved to California with her daughter, Alma.

She is survived by her sons, William and Harry of Marcus, and her daughter, Alma, of Long Beach; three grandchildren; and one great grandchild; two sisters, Minnie in Saskatchewan, Canada and Lizzie of Slayton, Minnesota.
