Alma Kaiser, the daughter of Mathias and Anna Knauft Kaiser, was born December 2, 1910 in Caledonia Township, O'Brien County, Iowa. She attended country schools and made her home with her parents in the county, later moving with her mother into Paullina. She resided in Paullina until the 1930's, when she moved to California to the Long Beach area. For many years, she was employed as a secretary in the Long Beach area until her retirement.

She passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 1995, at the Memorial Hospital in Long Beach, California, reaching the age of 84 years, 1 month, and 8 days.

She was baptized on December 11, 1910, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Germantown and later confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina in 1927. She was currently a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church in Long Beach.

Alma is survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, also a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, William and Harry.
