Funeral services for Mr. Emil Fahrenkrog were held in Trinity United Church of Christ, Saturday, February 6 at the Trinity United Chruch of Christ.

Mr. Emil Fahrenkrog was born on August 27, 1890 in Holstein, Iowa, the son of Henry and Anna Fahrenkrog. He moved to O'Brien County when a youngster, with his parents. Thereafter he worked and farmed in O'Brien County.

He was married to Lillian Peters in 1915 to which union four children were born. Mr. Fahrenkrog was a member of Trinity United Church, where he was baptized and confirmed, until he moved away.

He was married to Blanche Gelino on July 24, 1952. The couple lived in Arnolds Park these past years.

He died suddenly on February 3, 1960 at 69 years of age.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Blanche Fahrenkrog; three daughters, Mrs. Verlis Fanning of Hartley, Mrs. Bill Roberts of Washington, D.C., Mrs. Ed. Mohni of Hartley, Iowa; a son, Mr. Winton Fahrenkrog of Hartley, Iowa; a stepson, Mr. Bernadt Gelino; three brothers - Mr. Harry Fahrenkrog of Hartley, Mr. Henry Fahrenkrog of Hartley, Iowa, Mr. John Fahrenkrog of Everly, Iowa; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Gonnerman of Hartley, Mrs. Lou Benz of Melvin, Iowa, and Mrs. Marie Stoltenberg of Livingston, Montana; fourteen grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
