A memorial visitation for Constance D. (Connie) Lux, 77, of Spencer, Iowa, was held on Friday, April 20, 2012, at Hope Lutheran Church in Everly, Iowa.

Constance Diane Lux was born on May 24, 1934 in Everly, Iow, the daughter of George and Edna (Lockey) Rausch. On September 6, 1952, Connie was united in marriage to Denton Lux in Spencer, Iowa. The couple lived in Hartley, Everly, Albert City and Sutherland. After Denton's passing in 2006, Connie remained on the Sutherland acreage for several years. In August, 2011, she moved to Spencer.

She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and knitting. In their younger years, Connie and Denton loved to dance. She was a member of Hope Lutheran church in Everly.

Connie passed away on April 16, 2012, at the Spencer Municipal Hospital in Spencer at the age of 77.

Connie is survived by her daughter, Diane Kramer and her son Jeff; three granddaughters, Elizabeth, Emily and Amy, great grandchildren Carter, Addyson, and Olivia.

She was preceded in death by her father, George; mother, Edna; step-father Al Massey; sisters: Kathry Rohlf and Marion Ott; brothers, Bill Rausch and Bob Rausch.
