Claus Barnholdt [sic] Buried in Hartley Cemetery

The remains of Claus Barnholdt, a resisdent of Melvin, but at one time of this city, were laid to rest in the Hartley cemetery beside his wife last Saturday afternoon. Funeral services were conducted at the Melvin church, and again brief services were held at the chapel here.

Mr. Barnholdt [sic] died last Wednesday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. C. Beckman, in Melvin, where he had made his home for a number of years. His death was caused by a stroke a few years ago, and other complications developing from advanced age.

He leaves to mourn three daughters and two sons, besides a number of other relatives and friends.
