Funeral services for Ella C. Lange were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 14, 1990, at the Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home in Paullina, Iowa, with Rev. Stephen Kamprath officiating. The pallbearers were Kim Clayton, John Rick, Emil Kamradt, Dennis Thorns, Weber Clayton and Burdette Ewoldt. The final resting place is Prairie View Cemetery in Paullina, Iowa.

OBITUARY

Ella Catherine Lange, the daughter of John F. and Emma Mehrens Kruse, was born January 26, 1901, at Larrabee, Iowa. She received her education in O'Brien County rural schools. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Paullina and Dorcas Society of the church. She was baptized in 1901 and later confirmed on April 1, 1917.

On November 24, 1920, she was united in marriage to Louis Warnke in Paullina, Iowa. After their marriage, they farmed southwest of Paullina. He passed away on November 14, 1941, in LeMars.

On December 3,1944, she was united in marriage to William Lange in Paullina. They farmed in the Paullina area until his death on February 22, 1972.

In 1975, Ella moved to Sheldon where she has resided until moving to the Prairie View Home in Sanborn, March, 1990. She passed away on Friday, May 11,1990, at the home, reaching the age of 89 years, 3 months and 15 days.

Ella leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Lucy Jane Kamradt of Sutherland, Flora May Clayton and Ann Lorraine Thorns of Paullina; 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Rosetta Brockmann of Paullina; also a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents and one brother, Truman Kruse.
