Funeral services for John Harders, 55, of rural Hartley, will be held at St. Patrick's Lutheran Church in Hartley on Thursday, October 19m at 2 p.m. Rev. Lowell Kayser of Sanborn will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery at Hartley with Baumgarten Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Harders died at the Hartley Community Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, October 17, after a long illness.

Survivors include his wife, Arlene; one son, Edwin of Hartley; two daughters, Mrs. Dennis (LeAnn) Harms of Hartley, and Mrs. Harvey (Marjoan) Westerman of Sanborn; three grandchildren, five brothers, including Bernard and Richard of Hartley, and two sisters.
