Mrs. Donald Brown, 57, of Paulina, died Tuesday, November 29, at Ward Memorial hospital in Primghar.

Mrs. Brown was born Flora Ruth Nott, at Calumet, Iowa, on June- 15, 1909, the only daughter and eldest child of Fred and Beatrice Henderson Nott She attended the Calumet schools and a business school in Des Moines, and afterwards taught in schools near Paullina. On March 14, 1933, she was united in marriage to Donald Alexander Brown of Paullina. Mrs. Brown was a member of the First Presbyterian church of Paullina, Eastern Star, F.C.N.P.A. Club, and circles of the church.

She is survived by her husband, Donald; two sons, Donald Edward of Paullina and Paul Lewis of New York City; and four grandchildren, Sara, Todd, Mark and David. A brother, John of Tampa, Florida, and three half brothers, Thomas of Miamisburg, Ohio, George of Des Moines and Robert of Panama City, Florida, also survive.

Funeral services were held at Paullina on December 2. Burial was in Prairie View cemetery. Relatives and friends attended from New York, Florida, Ohio, South Dakota, Minnesota, Nebraska and Iowa.
