April 12, 1913SHELDON:
The sudden and unexpected demise of Miss Etta Kimmel, which occurred on Saturday morning at the parental home west of Sheldon, has brought sorrow to a host of friends in the city and its immediate vicinity. Miss Etta, who was the oldest daughter of Ex-Senator and Mrs. W. L. Kimmel, was born in the home where the years of her entire life were spent, and was thought to have been in the enjoyment of her usual health, when she was called to her eternal abode. Rev. Rolsten—pastor of the Church of the Brethren, of which she was in life a consistent member—conducted the funeral services on Monday afternoon, after which the mortal remains were consigned to their final resting place in East Lawn Cemetery. The home of which she was an inmate has been bereft of her beloved presence, and nothing now remains but a hallowed memory which will ever be cherished by her loved ones. Tender sympathy is extended.
