GAIL W. PITTS long-time resident of San Bernardino, passed away on August 20, 2006 at the age of 82 at Redlands Community Hospital.

Born in Sanborn, Iowa on March 29, 1924. Served in the United States Navy during World War II and the Korean War. He moved to California in 1951 and was employed at Norton Air Force Base for many years before taking a job with TRW where he was employed until his retirement in 1972.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Marjorie Pitts in 1988.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Twylla Cameron of Phelan, Sandra Stacey of Fontana; son-in-law, Garry Stacey of Fontana; five grandchildren, Robert Vennum, Michael Vennum, David Leggitt, Eric Leggitt and Randy Cameron; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Arrangements by Neptune Society. No services will be held. Interment at Riverside National Cemetery.
