Services for Arline A. Aldred will be held Wednesday, March 17, 1999 at the United Methodist Church in Sutherland, Iowa with Rev. Dean McPherson officiating. Interment will be in Waterman Cemetery in Sutherland with Warner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Arline A. Aldred, the daughter of Charley and Millie Waid Aldred was born July 16, 1922 in Primghar, Iowa. She received her early education in Sutherland and graduated from Sutherland High School in 1940.

Following her graduation from Sutherland, she attended college at the Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, Iowa and continued her education at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. Following her schooling, she taught school in Aurelia and later retired and moved back to Sutherland.

While living in Sutherland, she was a member of the United Methodist Church, the U.M.W. and the American Legion Auxiliary. On Saturday March 13, 1999, Arline passed away at the Sioux Valley Hospital in Cherokee, Iowa at the age of 76. She was preceded in death by her parents. Arline is survived by several cousins, as well as other relatives and friends.
