Ada Hadden, 94, of Grafton, VA, passed away on Friday, March 23, 2001. A native of Primghar, she was a peninsula resident for 60 years.

Miss Hadden was employed in the Fiscal Division of N.A.S.A. and retired in 1971 after 35 years of service. She was a member of the Providence United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William James Sr. and Anna Hadden; sisters Margaret Hadden Tusler and Anna Hadden Cunnien;also two brothers, William James, Jr. and Thomas Nelson. She is survived by her sister-in-law Peggy Hadden of Grafton; nephews, James Hadden of Austin, TX, Charles Hadden of Oak Ridge, TN, and John Hadden of London, England; nieces Phyllis Bollinger of Kansas City, KS, and Jessie Fritzsche of Primghar, and numerous grand nieces and nephews.

A service of committal of ashes will be held in Primghar. A local memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice. Amory Funeral Home of Grafton was in charge of the arrangements.
