Michael Schultz of Sanborn First from O'Brien County to Lose His Life In Vietnam War

Pfc. Schultz was born Aug. 11, 1946, at Primghar, Iowa, and moved to Sanborn with his parents when he was four years old. A 1964 graduate of Sanborn High School, he entered the Army April 6, 1966, and went to Vietnam Sept. 28, 1966 He served with the 1st Air Cavalry.

Survivors include his parents; one brother, Steven, who is at home: two sisters, Mrs. Elmer Johannsen of Pnmghar and Mrs. LeRoy Hansen of Sheldon, and a paternal step-grand- father. Henry Hibbing of Paullina.
