Mrs. Jake Zwagerman passed away Sunday morning at 8:45 at the Verdoorn Nursing Home in Ashton, following a heart attack. She reached the age of 73 years, 8 months and 15 days.

Maria Koppedrayer was born September 12, 1877 at Ackley, Iowa. On March 12, 1902, she was united in marriage to Jake Zwagerman. They lived at Ackley for a while, later moving to Boyden, then Sheldon and the last few years at Sanborn. To this union two children were born: Ann, Mrs. Jake Van Grouw of Redlands, California; and Kathryn, Mrs. Nick Verbrugge of Sanborn.

Survivors include the widower, 2 daughters, 12 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Also a sister, Mrs. Alice DeVries of Hull.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday, May 31, at 1:00 at the Funeral Home in Sanborn and 1:30 at the Christian Reformed Church. Pallbearers are Clarence Van Grouw, Jim Verbrugge, Ray Grooters, John Hofman, Clarence Getting and Gerrit Roetman.

Interment will take place in Roseland Cemetery.
