Graveside rites held for Howard Velin

Graveside rites were held Monday afternoon, November 10, at Pleasant View Cemetery in Hartley with Rev. Scott officiating, for Mr. Howard Velin, 62, a former Hartley resident, more recently of Marshalltown.

Mr. Velin passed away Nov. 7th at Rochester following a short illness. He is survived by his wife, a son, Don, and a daughter, Mary.

Mr. Velin was a cousin of Wendell Romey.
