Mr. Denny was an honest, industrlous man, beloved and respected by all who knew him. His unexpected death was a great shock to us all and reminds us once again of the truth of those wonderful words of an old poet
"Who knows how near my end may be?
Time speeds away an death comes on.
How swiftly, ah, how suddenly
may death be here, and life be gone!
My God, for Jesus' sake I pray:
thy peace may bless my dying day."Hartley (Iowa) Sentinel, 20 Mar 1930, p1
