Roger David Bindner, 78 of Spirit Lake, Iowa passed away on March 14, 2018. He was born on June 13, 1939 the son of Barney and Evelyn (Streff) Bindner in LeMars, Iowa. He graduated from St. Joseph High School in Granville, Iowa. He then went on to graduate from Iowa State University and ultimately, Drake University Law School, where he received his Juris Doctorate.

He was united in marriage to Ann Larson at Granville, Iowa on June 10, 1961. To this union, three children were born, Todd, Kristine, and Jamie.

Roger worked as an attorney in Central and Northwest Iowa for 40 years, retiring in 2007. He was a member of the Iowa State, O'Brien, and Sioux County Bar Associations, the Milford, Iowa Kiwanis Club, and St. Joseph Catholic Church, Milford, Iowa.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Ann, three children, Todd (Beth) Bindner, Kristine (Kent) Faust, and Jamie (Steve) Van Horn, ten grandchildren, a sister, Linda (Lynn) Sorensen, and a brother, Tim (Lynn) Bindner.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Milford, Iowa. Interment of Roger's cremated remains will take place at West Prairie View Cemetery, Paulina, Iowa.
