Our community was again shocked by the death message. Word came last week of the quite sudden death of George A. Robinson, of Bridger, S Dak. It was only last December when his wife was brought here for burial and and now the sad journey is made by the family for him. The body reached here Saturday morning and funeral services were conducted by Rev. T. S. Bassett at the chapel. Music was rendered by Mrs. Boldt, Miss Emma Hopfe, Miss Gussie Metcalf and B. T. Sherbon.

George A. Robinson was born in Centerville, Iowa, February 27, 1873 When a young man and living at Vinton, Iowa, he married Miss Bell M. Griffith of that place. Of this union seven, children were born, four sons and three daughters, Thomas of Sanborn, Iowa, Roy, Ray, Leland, Mrs. Dorthea O'Neal, Mertle Gail, and Edna, the last named having died shortly after her mother's decease last December.

The family home was at Bridger, S. Dak., where Mr. Robinson was engaged in farming. He is survived by six children, his aged father, Hiram Robinson, and by two sisters, Mrs. Mary E. Sumner, of Gifford, Iowa, and Mrs. Maggie M Clark of Rockwell City, Iowa, all of whom were here for the funeral.

Note: Obituary lists 1873 as year of birth, but memorial marker shows 1875. Absent of other proof, I defer to the Grave.
