1897 - FRIEDA BENNETT - 1968

Frieda Alvertina Caroline Wilhelmine Bennett, daughter of Charles Lange and his wife, Frieda nee Kirch, was born on August 24, 1897 in Chicago, Ill. She was baptized in the Christian faith in the Lutheran Church in Chicago on September 25, 1897. She was educated in Chicago and was confirmed on April 5, 1914 at Zion Lutheran Church of Paullina, Iowa, by the Rev A. H. Semmann.

On April 20, 1920, she was united in marriage to Edward Kay To this union two children were born. Mr. and Mrs. Kay lived in Paullina until his death in 1963.

On July 24, 1964, she was united in marriage to Roy Bennett.

Frieda had been in failing health the past few months. She passed away at St. Luke's West Hospital on Sunday, February 18, 1968 at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 23 days.

She leaves to mourn her passing, her husband, Roy; two children, Walter of Palo Alto, Calif., and Margaret, Mrs. George Hansen, of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, a brother, Charles of Davenport; seven grandchildren, many nieces and other relatives and friends.
