We are sorry to note the death of our neighbor, Herman Asmus, who with his wife and little child were struck by the east boouond passenger train Monday evening, while crossing the Milwaukee tracks, near the Prairie Queen Mill. His wife was not seriously hurt and the baby escaped injury. He died from the effects of the blow about 6:20 Tuesday morning. Funeral services to be held at the Methodist Church, Thursday at 1 o'clock, p.m.
