Services for Bradley William Hartman were held Wednesday, November 7, 1984 at 1:30 p.m. at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Sutherland with Rev. LeRoy Reimer officiating. Organist was Mrs. Loren Drefke and soloist was Mr. Jacob Moermond. Casletbearers were Greg Lange, Jerry Howe, Trent Sohn, Scott Wetherell, Chris Ward and Tyler Sohn.

OBITUARY

Bradley William Hartman, the son of Jerry and Mary Anderson Hartman was born on February 18, 1966 at Sioux City, Iowa. He received his early education in Remsen and Floyd Valley School systems until the family moved to Sutherland in 1978. He graduated from Sutherland High School in 1984. He had been a resident of the Sutherland area for most of his life and was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church and also a member of the Sutherland Fire Department.

He passed away on November 4, 1984 at the Marion Health Center in Sioux City, Iowa as a result of a farming accident near LeMars where he had recently been employed.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Byron in infancy.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents: Mary Hartman of Sutherland, Jerry and Shirley Hartman of Cherokee. One sister and two brothers: Brenda, Bruce and Brent Hartman of Sutherland. His grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Andy Anderson of LeMars and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Brownmiller of Granville. Three step sisters and their husbands: Kathy and Joel Smith of Dallas, Texas, Melinda and Pat Winchell of Aurelia, Melissa and Mike Jensen of Cherokee. Two step brothers: Dan Zembsch of Dallas, Texas and Mike and his wife, Marilyn Zembsch of Phoenix, Arizona and other relatives and friends.
