Leonard Eichner

Services were held Sunday, July 1, 1945, at Chippewa Falls, Wis., for Leonard Eichner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Claus Eichener who passed away June 29th after an illness of several years, at the age of 67 years and 5 days.

He was born at Dixon, Iowa, June 24, 1878 and came with his parents to O'Brien county in the year 1888. He attended school at Sutherland and was married on June 24, 1903 to Alma Kundle [sic Alma Kundel] of Sutherland. They lived on various farms around Hartley and moved in 1912 to his late home in Chippewa Falls, Wis.

He leaves to mourn besides his widow, two sons and his aged mother, Mrs. Hannah Eichner and one brother, Julius of Hartley. His father, two brothers, one sister and an infant daughter preceded him in death.
