Anna Kruse, 90, Dies at Sutherland

A Former Resident Mrs. Anna Dorothea Kruse, 90, passed away Saturday [Oct 30] at Millie's Rest Home, where she had been a resident since 1959. Funeral services were held at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon from the Baumgarten Funeral Home in Sutherland. The Rev. Warren Bintz, Methodist church pastor, was in charge. Selected organ recordings were played. Pallbearers were Herman Kruse, Hans Kruse, Frank Kruse, Edward Struve, Amiel Struve and Dan Struve. Burial was in Oakland cemetery at Peterson.

Mrs. Kruse, a native Iowan, was born at Davenport in [July 7] 1875. For many years she lived in Clay county and resided in Paullina and at Peterson before coming to Sutherland. Her husband died in 1936. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
