Fredericka Struve Passes On
Answers Summons of Death Friday, June 30, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Sioux City

After a lingering illness of several months, Miss Frederick Struve died Friday, June 30th at two o'clock a.m. at the St. Joseph's hospital in Sioux City. The cause of death was cerebral thrombosis.

Funeral services were held at the Carl Struve home Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. Arthur C. Evans, of the Presbyterian church officiating. Interment was at Prairie View cemetery.

Fredericka Struve was born September 27, 1863 at Holstein, Germany, and died June 30, 1922. WHen at the age of six years she came to this country with her parents, locating at Davenport, Ia. The family home was made at Davenport for seven years when the family moved to Holstein, Ia., where they resided for another seven years. From Holstein they came to O'Brien County, locating on a farm in Caledonia township. In 1905 the deceased moved to Paullina, she and her brother Carl making their home together until the time of her death last week.

The deceased was a lady of quiet and retiring habits with a kind and loving heart and always willing to do and to lend a helping hand to anyone sick or in need of help. A woman who could carry he own troubles and sorrow in her own heart and not complain.
