PHARR, TEXAS - Ernest E Reeves, 92, of Pharr, Texas, died Tuesday, May 22, 2001, at the Edinburg Nursing & Rehab Center.

Mr. Reeves had been a farmer in the O'Brien County, Iowa, area before moving in 1975 to Winter Haven Village in Pharr. Mr. Reeves was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church in McAllen where he earned a pin for 25 years of ushering with perfect attendance

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Jessie (Dolly), two sisters, Mabel Parks of Prescott, Arizona, and Myrtle Parks of Wynnewood, Oklahoma, two sisters-in-law Thelma Reeves of LeMars, Iowa, and Viola Reeves of Ozark, Missouri, and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Lawrence and Glen.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 25 at St Mark United Methodist Church in McAllen with the Rev Jarrel Sharp officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Cemetery, under the direction of the Kreidler Funeral Home, Inc., in McAllen.
