Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Bertha Test

Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha J. Test were held on Friday, August 22 at the Presbyterian church in Paullina. Mrs. Test passed away August 19 at Friendship Haven in Fort Dodge at the age of 91 years, 7 months and 18 days. Pallbearers were Robert Towe, Severn Towe, Albert Laue, Arthur Kimblad, Glen Berntson Walter Henderson. Soloist was Mrs. Harold DeJong with Mrs Marvin Smith as organist Final resting placr was Prairie View Cemetery at Paullina.

Obituary

Mrs. Berlha J Test was born January 1, 1878 at Dunbar, Iowa She was a long-time resident of Paullina, coming to the area in 1910 and residing here until Aug 1960 when she moved to Friendhip Haven. She was the wife of the late Emmett D Test.

She is survived by five children, Lowell B Test of Mesa, Arizona, Mrs Melville Welty of Pocahontas. Iowa; Mrs Monroe Mathison of Canton South Dakota; Mrs C B Gilliland of Arlington, Virginia and Ray Test of Annandale, Va. Eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren also survive

She was preceded in death by her husband Emmett, son Earl, daughter Helen and grandson, John Test.
