AUGUST HENRICHSEN

August Henrichsen, son of Amos and Catherine H. Henrichsen, was born in Sanborn, August 18, 1891 and passed away at his home in Marmouth, [sic] North Dakota, Saturday, November 10, being 54 years of age.

He grew up in Sanborn, attended the local school and was a veteran of World War I in which he served over­seas with the infantry. He was a bricklayer by trade; for the past two years he had been working for the railroad.

Death came very suddenly at 10 o'clock in the forenoon Saturday as the result of a heart attack.

He was married to Miss Martha Haus at her home town, Lawler, Ia., and soon after went to live in North Dakota. They were the parents of two children, both of whom died in infancy. His wife survives.

Of the twelve children in the Henrichsen family, eight preceeded him in death. His parents are buried here, at Sanborn. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Marie Cone, of Spirit Lake, and two brothers, George, of Worthington, Minn., and William, of Sanborn.

Funeral services were held at his home in Marmouth, N. D. on Tuesday afternoon, November 13, andl Masonic rites at the Masonic Hall assisted by the American Legion. Wm. Henrichsen attended the services arriving home last Saturday.
