PETER A. TRIERWEILER

Peter Anthony Trierweiler, the son of Peter and Louisa Kessler Trierwieler, was born August 11, 1903 at Sutherland. Iowa. He passed away October 7, I960 at Spencer, Iowa at the age of 57 years, 1 month, and 25 days.

He had been hospitalized about three weeks preceding his death, but had been in failing health for the past five years, suffering from a heart ailment.

He had spent his entire life in O'Brien and Clay Counties, with the exception of one year in nearby Dickinson county, had attended the public schools near his home, and most recently had resided in Moneta. He had engaged in farming until ill health forced his early retirement. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church at Everly.

On February 14, 1935 he was united in marriage to Wilma Bucholz at Primghar, Iowa. To them were born five children; Peter, John, Paul, Michael, and Mary.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife and children; a sister, Mrs. Louise Ginger of Sutherland, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Services were held at St. Louis Catholic Church at Royal, October 10, 1960 at 10 a.m., Father Robert Kirschbaum officiating. Burial was at Pleasant View Cemetery at Hartley, under the direction of the Baumgarten Funeral home of Hartley. Pallbearers were: John Ginger, Dick Ginger, Emil Struve, Lawrence Soat, Carroll Baysinger and Cyral Baysinger.
