MRS. LOUISA TRIERWEILER

Louisa Trierweiler, nee Kessler, was born in Bruchweiler Kirn in Rhenish Prussia, Germany, on March 4, 1869, and passed away at her home In Spencer on March 10, 1939, at the age of 70 years and 6 days.

In early infancy her parents, Frederick Kessler and his wife, Elizabeth, nee Ros, presented the child for baptism in the Evangelical Lutheran church of that vicinity. Here she received her education and after due preparation, she was confirmed in the same place. She spent her early womanhood in Germany.

In 1890 she was united in marriage to Peter Trierweiler. To this union were born two children, a daughter, Caroline Louise, and son, Peter Anthony.

On January 9, 1901, Mrs. Trierweiler and daughter Louise came to the United States and joined Mr. Trierweiler at Alton. Since coming tp this country she has spent her entire life on a farm until March of this year, when she moved to Spencer with her son.

She departed this life on March 10 at 8:30 P. M. following a few weeks illness. '

Her husband preceded her in death in May last year. Five brothers, three sisters and one granddaughter, Lorene Ginger, also preceded her in death.

She leaves to mourn her departure a daughter, Louise, Mrs. Will Ginger of Sutherland; a son, Peter Anthony [Trierweiler], of Spencer; a brother, William Kessler, in Germany; six grandchildren, Mrs. Louise Steuck, Dorothy, William and Betty Lou Ginger, of Sutherland, Mrs. Evelyn [Ginger] Heick of Peterson, and Tony Trierweiler, Jr.; two great grandchildren, Lorraine and Kenneth Steuck; and Will Ginger, Mrs. Tony Trierweiler, Alfred Steuck, Arthur Heick and a number of other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at the Trinity church with Rev. G. A. Pahl officlating. Music was furnished by a mixed quartette. Interment waa made in Pleasant View cemetery.
