MRS. AUGUSTA MILZ

Augusta Henrietta Louise Kreuger was born in Germany on August 24, 1861 and departed this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ed Schirmer, near Primghar, Saturday, July 10 at the age of 86 years, 10 months and 16 days.

In 1884 she came to Pennsylvania and there was united in marriage to William Neimann.[sic] To this union nine children were born.

In 1901 the family moved to Ocheyedan, where Mr. Neimann passed away the following year.

In 1905 she was married to Joachim Milz, who passed away in 1920. Five children have also preceded her in death.

For the past nine years she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Ed Schirmer. Mrs. Milz was a life long member of the Lutheran church. She is survived by two daughters: Mrs. Martha Schuckbard, Remsen, and Mrs. Ed Schirmer, Primghar; two sons, William Neimann, Tracy, Minn and Herman Neimann, Sanborn; and two step-sons, Carl Milz, Milwaukee, Wise, and Jake Milz, Hartley; 27 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran church with the pastor, Rev. H. Daib, in charge of the last rites. Mi's. Amos Peterson, Mrs. Arnold Steuck, Miss Betty Clark and Miss Ruth Menning sang "Rock of Ages" and "Just As I Am." Mrs. Herbert Daib was accom­panist. Casketbearers were Walter Jacobs, Robert Petrich, Simon Heitmeyer, George Brinkert, William- Boyens and Herman Storm.

Interment was Roseland cemetery.
