MINNIE TIPP 1894 —1992

Minnie Rose Marie Guse, the daughter of Charles and Whilmenia Guse, was born on July 24, 1894 at Sanborn, Iowa. She lived her youth and received her education in Sanborn.

Minnie was united in marriage to Raymond Tipp and to this marriage one son was born. Their entire married life was lived in Sanborn.

Minnie died at St. Luke's Medical Center at Sioux City, Iowa on January 20,1992 at the age of 97 years, five months and 26 days. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son, Bernard, one sister, Emma, and two brothers: William and Bernard.

Minnie was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church at Sanborn, Iowa. Funeral services were held January 23 at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor Kenneth Funke officiating. Casket bearers were Leonard Ander­son, Glenn Strubbe, Mitch Seivert, Francis Moore, Ellwood Klever and Rick Maranell. Robert Gruenewald sang "Savior I Follow On" and "Asleep in Jesus." Congregational hymns were "Heaven is My Home," and "How Great Thou Art." Linda Funke was organist. Burial was in Roseland Cemetery, Sanborn with the Sanborn Funeral Home in charge.
