CARLEEN RAE ALLEN

Carleen Rae Allen, the daughter of Gene and Vivian Anderson Allen, was born at Hartley, Iowa, on March 16, 1955. She entered into eternal life on Dec. 9, 1983, at the tender age of 8 years, 8 months, and 23 days.

She attended the Hartley Community Schools, where she was a student in Grade Three. She was baptized in Trinity United Church of Christ at Hartley, and a member of the Sunday School there.

Left to cherish her memory are her parents; her three brothers, Scott, age 12, Jeffrey, age 10, and Alex, age 3; one sister, Joy, age 7 months; her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Abel Anderson of Hartley and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Allen of Susanville, Calif.; several aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as her many little playmates and friends.

Services were held on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 1:30 pjri. in the United Church of Christ with Rev. R. G. Beck officiating. Pallbearers were David Adams, Mike Butler, Rodney Roth and Mark Steinmetz. Interment was made in Pleasant View Cemetery at Hartley.
