MRS. EMORY MUILENBURG

JoAnn Joy Muilenburg, the daughter of Francis and Carrie Larson LaBarge, was born at Decorah, Iowa, on June 23, 1936. She entered into eternal life on December 12, 1963, at the home of her mother, at the age of 27 years, 5 months, and 19 days.

As a child she and her parents lived at Calmar, Greene, Milford, and Marion, all in Iowa. She attended the public schools at Calmar, the Milford Catholic School, and the Marion Independent Schools, where she was graduated from high schooL For the past nine years she had resided in Hartley. She was a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ here.

On Aug. 1, 1959 she was united in marriage to Emory Muilenburg at Hartley. To them were born four children, one of whom, a son, died in infancy. Also preceding her in death were one sister and one brother who died in infancy, and her father in 1957.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Emory; her three small daughters, Karee, Gaye, and Kendy; her mother, Mrs. Carrie LaBarge of Hartley; one sister, Mrs. John Hoeft of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; several nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and many friends.

Services were held Saturday, Dec. 14,- at 1:30 in the Trinity United Church of Christ with Rev. R. G. Beck officiating. Pallbearers were Earl Gonnerman, Curtis Paulsen, Edward Kjamme, Harold Kramme, Gene Peterson and Leo Peterson. Interment was made in Pleasant View Cemetery, Hartley, with the Baumgarten Funeral Home in charge.
