Emil Koehlmoos. a retired Paullina farmer, passed awav on Monday. March 29 at the Baum Harmon Hospital in Primghar He entered the hospital on Fridav Mr Koehlmoos reached the age of 77 years 8 months and 14 days Funeral services were held at St John Lutheran Church at Germantown on Wednesday. March 31 at 2 p.m. Rev Charles Kramer officiated at the services Pallbearers were Lyle Koehlmoos, Verdis Koehlmoos Marvin Kuhlman. Leland Koehlmoos. Ron Koersclman and Lewis Meyer. Mrs Connie Bruns was organist and the congregation sang three hymns Final resting place was St John Lutheran Church cemetery near Germantown with arrangements under the care of the Gaudian Eldridge Funeral Home.

Emil Johann Hermann Koehlmoos. the son of Ehler and Mary Brooks Koehlmoos. was born July 15. 1904 in Caledonia township, O'Brien County. Emil was baptized into the Lutheran faith on Aug 14. 1904 and later confirmed on March 24. 1918 at St John Lutheran Church in Germantown.

He was united in marriage to Adele Meyer on Dec 19 1928 at her parents' home near Paullina After their marriage the couple farmed in the Germantown area for many years before moving into Paullina in 1980.

Emil passed away on Monday. March 29, 1982 at the Baum Harmon Hospital in Primghar reaching the age of 77 years, 8 months and 14 days He was a member of St John Lutheran Church in Germantown.

Emil leaves to mourn his passing his wife. Adele of Paullina, his children - one daughter. Mrs John (Vernice) Rahbusch of Sutherland, two sons. Orlynn and Dennis, both of Paullina; 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; and one brother, Ed of Paullina.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and three brothers.
