Services held for Marsha M. Klein

Funeral services for Marsha M. Klein were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, 1995, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Germantown, Iowa, with Rev. Charles Kramer officiating. The casket bearers were Pat Irish, Loren Klein, LeRoy Mueller, Carl Dowdy, Leon Klein and Junior Hohbach. Interment was at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Germantown, Iowa, under the direction of the Gaudian-Eldridge Funeral Home.

OBITUARY

Marsha Marie Klein, the daughter of Bill and Charlotte Irish, was born January 31, 1948, in Sioux City, Iowa. She received her education in Sioux City schools and graduated from Central High School in Sioux City in 1966. She went on to receive her nurses training at Western Iowa Tech in Sioux City graduating in August of 1968.

On August 17, 1968, she was united in marriage to Tom Klein in Granville, Iowa. After their marriage, the couple settled in Granville where she was employed at Village Northwest in Sheldon until ill health forced her retirement.

She passed away on Sunday, April 9, 1995, at the Orange City Hospital, reaching the age of 47 years, 2 months and 8 days. She was baptized and later confirmed into the Lutheran faith on April 15, 1962, and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Germantown.

Marsha leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Tom of Granville; one son, Bill Klein of Archer and one daughter, Carmen and her husband, Carl Dowdy of Cherokee, Iowa; two grandchildren: Ashley and Amanda Dowdy; her parents, Bill and Charlotte Irish of Sioux City; three brothers: Denny Irish of Gardner, Kansas; Pat and Mike Irish, both of Sioux City; and one sister, Mrs. Theresa Stenzel of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; also a host of other relatives and friends.
