Services In memory of Stella Peters were held 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 29, 1990, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Hartley. Rev. John Schauer officiated.
Casket bearers were Gale Luedke, Dale Peters. Lyle Luedke, Rodney Jenkins. Kelley Peters and Mark Hansen. Committal service was in Pleasant View Cemetery of Hartley. Baumgarten Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Stella Peters, the daughter of Adolph and Ida Brehmer Gosch, was born August 16. 1897. at Hartley, Iowa. She attended grade school and lived at Hartley all of her life. Stella was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Hartley.

She was united in marriage to Emil Peters on June 29. 1921, at Spencer. Emil passed away In 1970.

She passed away at Hartley on October 25. 1990. at the age of 93.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, two sisters and one brother.

Left to cherish her memory are one daughter, Joyce Jenkins and her husband. Warren of Hartley, and two sons, Darrell and Bernice of Paullina, and Dale "Buzz" and Marilyn of Hartley; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren: as well as other relatives and friends.
