Mrs. Barbara Ginger

[illegible] Ginger Monday and summoned her from the midst of loved ones the aged and beloved mother, Mrs. Barbara Ginger. The cause of death were complications caused by a severe fall down a flight of stairs, which occurred about two weeks previous to the death. From the time of the fall little hope was had for a recovery. Her advanced age and the serious nature of the injury proved sufficient to break the thread of life. The end came Monday at the home of her son, John Ginger.

Funeral services were held at the John Ginger home yesterday, Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock. Rev. H. F. Williams officiating. The interment was at Prairie View Cemetery.

Barbara Albright was born July 12, 1840, at Princeton, Bureau county, Ill., being seventy-eight years four months and twenty-one days of age at the time of her death. She was united in marriage to Jacob Ginger at Princeton, Ill., August 10, 1860. Her husband preceded her in death, dying Sept 3, 1897. To this union were born ten children, five of whom preceded the mother in death. When but a young woman in 1872, she united with the Methodist church and has remained until the time of her death a consistent member of that faith. In 1885 she came with her husband and maily to O'Brien county and settled in this community, being pioneers here.

Those who survive to mourn the death of a loving mother and sister are her sons, John, Jacob and William of Paullina; her daughters, Mrs. Gus Martin of Paullina and Mrs. L. _ Melend_ of Wa__ __teen grandchildren [illegible] Albright of Merlin, Ont, Canada.
