Saturday evening last, Mrs. and Mrs. G.N. Lounsbery received word from Fulda, Minnesota, that their son, Mr. Roy Lounsbery, was dangerously ill. They left Sunday morning for his home, driving across country in their auto. Roy was very low when they arrived, and continued to grow weaker all day and the next, passing away about midnight Monday night, December 8th. He was buried at Fulda, Tuesday as under the Minnesota regulations, the body could not be shipped.

The news of Roy Lounsbery's death cast a gloom over the whole city, for he was universally esteemed by all in this, his home city. Roy grew up here receiving his education in our public schools, learning the harness-maker's trade and business in his father's store and choosing his wife from among our people. He was taken sick a week ago last Monday with influenza. His wife had hardly recovered from an attack of the same malady.

Roy was about 30 years of age, and one of the finest young men going out from Centerville to make a home for himself. Industrious and ambitious, he won the confidence and esteem of.

He was married to Miss Emma (M___nger) several years ago, and she with his parents, brothers and sisters is left to mourn his death in the prime of life. To these we extend sincere sympathy.

A more complete obituary will appear next week.
