Paullina Farmer Takes Own Life

E. R. Tesch Found by Son. Death Occurred about 1:00 Tuesday Afternoon, Coroner Estimates.

E. R. Tesch, age 69, who has farmed in the Germantown area for many years, took his own life by hanging Tuesday afternoon according to the report of Dr R. L. Zoutendam, Sheldon, O'Brien county coroner, who was called to the scene. Tesch's lifeless body was discovered in the barn by his son, Orville, upon the latter's return from work done elsewhere about the farm. This was between 3.00 and 3:30 p.m. Coroner Zoutcndam set the time of death at "Shortly after 1:00 p.m." Cause for the action by the deceased has not been determined. In conversation with his son shortly before 1:00 o'clock he reportedly gave no indication of despondency or reason for the act.

Mrs. Tesch, wife of the deceased, died about 31 years ago. Funeral services for the deceased will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the Gaudian Funeral Home.

Burial will be in St. John cemetery at Germantown. The Rev. H. C. Bentrup will officiate.
